• Designs, develops, implements, and provides ongoing maintenance of the “back end” of mission critical web based applications and database driven web sites
• Performs development of architecture design specifications, object and data modeling, database design, programming, quality assurance and implementation support
• Designs, develops, implements, and provides ongoing maintenance of mission critical “thick” applications
• Performs Quality Assurance testing and remediation
• Creates and maintains MS-SQL Server Stored Procedures
• Performs MS-SQL Server administration functions

15% Technical – FPA
• Maintains and performs updates to the FPA Client WebPortal application
• Maintains and updates the FPA SharePoint intranet
• Manages and maintains development and live IIS Servers

5% Technical – Web Mgmt.
• Creates and manages client hosting accounts and related info
• Uploads changes to and manages the performance of client sites

10% Administrative
• Attends group and general staff meetings
• Prepares status reports and recap emails as necessary
• Prepares Timesheets
• Prepares General correspondence
• Creates technical documentation
• Creates Procedures Documents as necessary
• Documents standards and procedures in CAS and Web Development Services notebook

10% Training & Development
• Improves professional and technical knowledge
• Maintains and implements FPA Development Services Group policies and procedures

• An in-depth working knowledge of object oriented languages and development methods
• A strong working knowledge of structured programming methods and data normalization concepts
• Demonstrated knowledge in the design, development, and implementation of rich dynamic web sites, intranets, and database driven sites as well as “thick” business and financial applications utilizing industry standard best practices for software code development, reuse, and testing.
• Knowledgeable on UI development details such as page load times, elegant and efficient CSS, the pluses/minuses of ASP.Net AJAX, AJAX exception handling, cross browser degradation and capabilities
• A mid to high level of experience in the following:
o MS .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5
o MS-Visual Studio 2008, 2005, MS-VB, “Classic” ASP, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#.NET
o ADO, ODBC, OLE, OCX, DLL
o HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML/XSL/XSLT, Web Services
o Dreamweaver, MS-Visual InterDev, MS-Visual SourceSafe, Crystal Reports
o MS-IIS Server, CGI, Perl, PHP
• Demonstrated knowledge and working experience with the following database technologies:
o MS-SQL Server (2003/2005), MS-Access, and MySQL
• Demonstrated knowledge and working experience developing / working with the following:
o eCommerce shopping cart systems, Credit Card / PayPal Authorization integration
o Building websites based around a Content Management System (CMS)
