An ever important topic in today’s world is security. Whenever you develop a Web application, a security infrastructure also has to be built. In this session we will explore the new security features of ASP.NET 2.0. We will be examining the Membership and Role management system along with the new login controls.
Topic: Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX ("Atlas") (David Barkol)
In recent years, web applications have come closer to providing a more desktop-like user experience. By leveraging a combination of technologies known as AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML), applications have become richer, smarter and more interactive. The Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX framework (codename "Atlas") enables the developer to quickly and easily apply the AJAX patterns to existing web applications with little effort. In this presentation, we will be examining both the declarative and programming models used for building AJAX-enabled web pages. In additional we will also cover some general AJAX principles and guidelines.
